A WEEK of babysitting!!

Alissa had a chance to join Dan on a business trip in Las Vegas......so I took Max for SEVEN DAYS!!!  A baby really keeps you busy and makes you tired.  I guess that is why we have our own children when we are young!!  Good thing the little guy is so cute!
   Here are a few pictures from our time together.........he was a corrected age of 1 year during this visit.

Even though my trips to see the world are very wonderful......I have these special things waiting for me at home.  Here are my GRANDS in the Turkish garb I brought home for them.

Happy Birthday Max!!!

This was a momentous day in Alissa and Dan's journey with Max.  He had his first birthday!!  His parents threw a wonderful party for him.....and he enjoyed the day and his many, many visitors stopping by to bring him gifts and wish him well.  He especially enjoyed the balloons, the paper and his giant moose present from Mommy and Daddy!!  He liked his cake....at first.  Here is a picture journey of Max on his special day!!

Max is HEALTHY and HAPPY again!! YEA!!

Max is sick...........yesterday he was running a fever over 103 and was just snuggly and sleepy all day.  After a visit to the doctor we came home and settled in.  He slept on my shoulder for 3 hours!!  He was cuddly and warm.......

Look at his eyes.......you can see it.  Wouldn't you know it....his Mommy has a bad cold too.  At least this morning he slept in until she finally woke him up at 11:30!!  That is after not waking up at all during the night. I guess he needed his rest for sure!!
