Healthy now!!!

Max is HEALTHY and HAPPY again!! YEA!!

Max is sick...........yesterday he was running a fever over 103 and was just snuggly and sleepy all day.  After a visit to the doctor we came home and settled in.  He slept on my shoulder for 3 hours!!  He was cuddly and warm.......

Look at his eyes.......you can see it.  Wouldn't you know it....his Mommy has a bad cold too.  At least this morning he slept in until she finally woke him up at 11:30!!  That is after not waking up at all during the night. I guess he needed his rest for sure!!

I think this picture is fun.....it was taken back in November but everyone pretty much looks the same (except Simon got a hair cut and doesn't wear diapers!)  Corbin was snapping pictures like crazy to get one shot.....the kids were wrestling around and I kept falling over.....see my tight grip on Simon and my arm hanging onto Elliott's leg??!!  We were all laughing really hard!   FUN!!

Happy Birthday Corbin!!!

I don't know how it is possible that I (being as YOUNG as I am!) have a son who turned 35 today!!  Just not possible!!  We celebrated low key with a small family dinner.  Here are a couple pictures of him being his lovable, silly self!  See.....don't we look like we are the same age??  Ha!

 So I forgot to get candles.....but I had enough of those number candles and then some singles to add up to 35!!

Norah's Special Grandma Visit

It was Norah's turn to come to Grandma's house for an overnight visit.  We decided 2 nights/3 days would be enough for her first time away from home without a big brother along.  We had a great time and ALMOST made it before she got too lonely for "mama and papa".  Her family was due to come the next day for a Lakeland Village Christmas party....they  just showed up a little early in order to console their Norah.......MIDNIGHT....and of course she was sound asleep by then!  Oh well....the party just started early.

We shopped Goodwill for some bargain toys of her choosing (the princess castle was a real find).




We played dress up.





We colored with fun new paper and color books.

We had several fun bubble baths......

Our most special day was when we got dressed up in our party clothes and went to the Tea House in Port Orchard for lunch and dessert and TEA of course!  ( Norah doesn't like tea.....we had water in our teapot and cups!)  Norah picked out what she wanted me to wear.....the sparkliest thing she could find in my closet!

For my birthday I was surprised by a family outing to Zoo Lights at the Point Defiance Zoo in Tacoma.  This is always such a festive event and it was fun to be celebrating my birthday with all the kids....big and little.
