Red Hat Bingo

My November gathering for my Red Hat group was bingo at the Elks! It was fun......but not one of us was a winner (except at the game of friendship!)

Why am I wearing a PURPLE hat when this is the RED HAT SOCIETY?? Because during your birthday month (Yes...Happy Birthday to ME!) you reverse your colors. Purple hat with red clothes! Simple as that!

Wildlife in my Yard

Winter is definitely approaching. The wildlife in my yard is plentiful. The birds are getting the last of the berries.....the deer are growing their winter coats. They definitely keep me entertained.

I sent the Jack-O-Lantern home with the kids so they could enjoy it....then I didn't have one for ME to enjoy. I fixed THAT!!

I bought a pumpkin so that when the kids were here they could make their FIRST JACK-O-LANTERN. I just KNEW their Papa would really get into it too!! Here is the pumkpin carving series.

Norah on the Slide

Norah was amazingly brave on the slide at our playground. She learned how to make herself "GO" all by herself. Here is a little video showing how she just kind of stiffened her body to make her go down. Papa was quick on the catch at the safety guard!'
