10 days old!

Here are my feathered friends at 10 days old. They really are getting feathers now....and looking at me with open eyes. I can't get them to open their mouths any more though.

Baby Robins 9 days old!

Here are the babies after being hatched for 9 days.
One of them seems to be looking at me....at least his eye is open.



This is either the mama or the papa.....he has such a yummy worm dinner in his mouth for the babies!!!

Here are the babies on day 6! Amazing....they have grown so much and are getting feathers. They won't open their eyes for my whistle anymore....I think Mama and Papa Bird have taught them I am an imposter!!

I am amazed at how much these babies grew in just ONE DAY!!
Here is either Mama or Papa keeping a very close eye on me. One of them actually flew right at me today. I don't stay long...just a quick picture and I leave them alone.

Baby Robins...after ONE day!

By afternoon today all the eggs were hatched. While I was taking this little movie.....with mama and papa glaring at me from the roof.....I would whistle and the babies would open their mouths expecting me to feed them. Amazing progress for just a day!!

Baby Robins

These babies hatched sometime between 5:00 PM June 3 and 10:00 AM June 4. This movie was taken about 1:00 PM on June 4. If you look very closely you can see baby #4 trying to get out of his egg!! Very fascinating!
