Corbin & Elliott & Norah visit!!!

My son Corbin came over for the weekend with Elliott and Norah. (Melody stayed home and had a little rest!) Cory did a lot of work. He had given me gift certificates for "roof work" and "yard work" for Christmas. I had intended to work outside with him.....but needless to say....I had my hands for with the little ones. We PLAYED while HE WORKED! My kind of day !!

Mother's Day 2010

I had a wonderful Mother's Day. Alissa and my "granddog" Chispa came over and we played for 2 days. It was very fun just hanging out and doing a few fun things. I wish we could do this more often.

PS  I am sure Alissa won't like this picture.....what with towel hair and all.....but it is all I have!!!  Sorry Lis!!!

I don't know how Alissa could POSSIBLY be 31......but she IS!! Dan threw a very nice birthday party for her.....good food, friends and family!! A very nice day indeed!!

Daffodil Parade

I went to the Daffodil Parade in Puyallup yesterday. It was perfect weather and perfect to be with my son and his family and my daughter Alissa. The parade brought back SO MANY memories. I grew up with this parade and marched in it in the Orting High School band for 6 years! (It was a small school....we got to be in the HS band starting in 7th grade!!) This parade travels through 4 communities during the course of the day. It starts in Tacoma then goes to Puyallup, Sumner and Orting. Cor and Mel live in a PERFECT place....we just walked a few blocks to a great viewing area at the beginning of the parade. The parade actually ENDED just one block from their house. It was a great day!! Here are LOTS of pictures because it just brought back too many good memories!

Easter with Kids!

I spent the weekend with my son and his family in Puyallup. It was nice to attend a lovely Easter service at their new church. Melody's family included me in their Easter celebration. And what fun to be with little ones on Easter. A very good weekend indeed!!
