Mother's Day

I had a great Mother's Day. I drove to Alissa's house in the morning. We went to the Emerald Queen casino for a few hours of playing slots. She bought several tickets for me and I came out a WINNER! I will save those dollars for something special on my cruise. We then drove to Puyallup to Cor and Mel's new house for dinner. Mel fixed a yummy meal and we visited and smiled at all the cute things the kids did.
A day with my family......who could ask for more!!

Elliott Visits

I had Elliott at my house for a couple of days this weekend. Mama & Papa were busy moving into their new home.........so under the guise of helping them out....I borrowed the boy!! We had a great time as always. Saturday was a lovely day for spending some fun time at the Lakeland Village playground.

I spent a week at Eagle Crest in Redmond, Oregon with my friend Jere. We had a great time just relaxing and bumming around. The weather was SUPERB as was the resort!! We also attended a clogging workshop in Madras while we were there.

EASTER!

Corbin, Melody, Elliott and Norah came over Friday evening and stayed until late Saturday afternoon. After dinner on Friday and then getting Norah settled for the night Cor and Mel went out on a date while Elliott and I cuddled and read stories before he went to bed.
Saturday morning we went to the Lakeland Village Easter Egg hunt. The kids had a good time and Elliott even found a GOLDEN egg (only 2 in each age group) which netted him the grand prize of a big, soft bunny! He named the bunny "EASTER" which we thought was quite appropriate.
